Begins with Us,” which is the thread stitched through every initiative, focus and article of the newly launched Army Wife Magazine, an online publication with a small population to receive print. The monthly publication’s website, www.armywifemagazine.com, was officially launched on October 21, 2009 and has its headquarters in El Paso, TX, near Fort Bliss. read more

The Fort Bliss Homeschoolers CO-OP was created by Maritia Blundell. Her vision was to have a parent ran co-op where the parents pooled their resources and talents to teach their children in a classroom environment. She teamed with Betsey Trueblood to put together the co-op. Maritia arranged the buildings and sorted through regulations while Betsey completed paperwork and registrations for the children.
