Family is very important to have and it is who/what you want it to be (biologically or otherwise).

Your thoughts on being a Military Spouse:

Being an Army spouse is like being a part of a secret society . . . anyone who has never been a part of the Army as a wife, really can't understand the emotional ups and downs, the since of pride, and the amount of strength it takes and builds in you as a woman. In my early years, I didn't understand why all the weird hours, the field exercises, missing of important dates and holidays, and more. Now that I am ‘seasoned’, I have so much respect for my soldier and support him as much as possible. I put my trust in the Lord each day; and I keep moving through each day, no matter what the military lifestyle throws my way.

Your thoughts on Career:

It is very important to discover all your abilities and skills and work towards your goals and aspirations of what you would want to do as “work”. It is important to have passion and love for whatever you will do for years to come. No matter what is chosen, having a career is vital to maintaining you and who you are outside of obligations to others.

Your thoughts on Education:

I believe everyone should get an education; in reference to degrees and how many depends totally on the person and the field to which you are establishing your career. I have been asked by many as to when I will get my doctorate, but I am comfortable where I am at and feel that my certifications and other life experiences have contributed to the opening of doors of my business and other ventures.

Your thoughts about the current state of the economy:

God is first in my life and I believe that He sees me through anything.

Your thoughts about the effect of BRAC and living in the El Paso/Fort Bliss area:

I believe the increase in troops and their families will have a positive effect on the El Paso/Fort Bliss area-the economy and diversity.
