Name: Jamie Stone

Business: Precious Stones Photography

Description of business services, etc. : Photographer

Most satisfying aspect of your business:
I have control over my hours

How long have you been "married to the military": 4 1/2 years

Children?: 2 girls

Your thoughts on Family:
Family is the most important thing to me, they always come first.

Your thoughts on being a Military Spouse:
It's a hard job, especially going through our first deployment, but thankfully it's come to an end and I'm still breathing...always a plus. :)

Your thoughts on Career:
Being a wife and a mother are my career and that's something that the military has allowed me to do. My photography is more like a hobby of mine that I don’t mind getting paid for.

Your thoughts on Education:
I have been going to school for the last 3 years on and off. When I have completed school, I will have my Bachelor's in Accounting.

Your thoughts about the current state of the economy:
Makes me even more thankful my husband has a paycheck every month.

Your thoughts about the effect of BRAC and living in the El Paso/Fort Bliss area:
El Paso is not really my favorite place. I am a (green) grass and trees kind of girl, so I'm looking forward to moving back to the East.

Words to the wise for other military wives....
Don't sweat the small stuff, and learn to be patient.

Describe yourself with one word... ambitious

To relax and unwind I... put my kids in their room and listen to music (this doesn't happen as often as I would like!)

Reading... I read a lot of informational books about children and being a better mother; I seem to get a lot of fun and great ideas from them.

Listening to... I listen to just about anything, except the music where you can't understand the lyrics.
